We offer many amenities Including, hay given 2-4 times daily, superior grain, water available always, heated in winter. A large indoor and outdoor arena, 60 ft. round pen. Pond (pictured above) for horse and people swimming. 24 stalls, meticulously cleaned daily (if its not clean enough for us to sleep in, its not clean enough!) 2 injury/foaling stalls with monitor. Hot water wash rack.
Pastures dragged/picked up daily. 3 small individual paddocks for after surgery/injury care, with shelter or stall attached. We are 10 minutes from the northern kettle moraine trails and we offering trailering to and from. On site trails.
We have a very peaceful, quiet, family feeling here at Aledos. Every one is family. Your horse comes to be like one of our own. Since this is our full time job, the horses are monitored regularly. Horses who are retired or have special needs flourish here. We take great care in how our horses are grouped together.
There are several trainers who come here you can try one of them or bring your own, farrier too.
We enjoy learning each horse and their likes and dislikes. Ex. We all know horses don?t like wind and rain on their faces, one "our" horses will go as far as walking to the barn backwards to avoid rain and wind on their face. Funny;))
Horses who have stalls are lead in and out, not free to run to barns. We treat each horse as an individual. Not every horse can be maintained the same. We have different feed for young, middle, older, etc.
Our main objective in running our boarding/retirement/special care facility is to make sure each horse is taken care for their maximum health, comfort and happiness.
